This is more than just a course — it’s a 12-week screenwriting experience with a working screenwriter who’s helped hundreds of writers complete their first (or best) screenplay. With structure, support, and a small community cheering you on, you’ll go from blank page to FADE OUT by the end of summer

🎬 How It Works

Finish your screenplay in 12 weeks or less by writing 10 pages weekly. Get expert feedback and story structure guidance every step of the way. Here’s what to expect:

  1. Weekly Realistic Deadlines

    • After the first session, you’ll turn in 10 new pages each week. It's easier than you think, especially with Jordan's teachings and movie examples.

    • Pages are due by midnight every Wednesday (12:00am Thursday morning)

    • Week 1: Pages 1–10, Week 2: Pages 11–20, and so on

  2. Weekly 90-minute Coaching Calls (Thursdays)

    • Jordan will walk you through what story beats should appear in each set of pages (based on proven screenwriting structure)

    • He’ll review and give feedback on each student’s pages

    • You’ll also get tips on story pacing, tone, and character arcs

  3. Expert-Led Instruction

    • Most of each class is Jordan teaching screenwriting craft, story development, and script structure

    • There will also be time for Q&A and writer interaction, so you get support and insight from your peers

    • You’re learning from a working screenwriter with 25+ produced credits, who’s taught many writers to success, including Cheryl Chase.

  4. By the End of 12 Weeks

    • You’ll have a complete, professional screenplay

    • You’ll understand how to revise it—and how to repeat the process on your next script

    • You'll be a Screenwriter!

About Your Teacher

Jordan Imiola is an award-winning screenwriter, producer, and comedy showrunner with over 25 produced IMDb credits across film, television, and digital platforms. He has sold and optioned many screenplays and has worked for studios, management companies, and production companies, including 20th Century Fox, Disney, NBCUniversal, MarVista Entertainment, Untitled Entertainment, and has ghostwritten for several others behind the scenes. Jordan is also the host of the popular podcast Screenwriters Talk Screenwriting, where he interviews industry pros and shares insights to help writers succeed. From heartfelt screenplays to laugh-out-loud comedy sketches, he’s helped hundreds of students write better stories and create content that gets made.

❓ How long is the course and what if I miss a session?

The course runs for 12 weeks, with live 90-minute sessions every Thursday starting June 26, 2025. Each week includes lessons on Movie Structure and Writing Tips & Tricks to keep you writing your next 10 pages a week. Can’t make a session? No worries—you’ll receive a full recording so you never fall behind.

❓ What if I’ve never written a screenplay before?

Good! This course is perfect for beginners and intermediate writers. You'll get step-by-step guidance from concept to “Fade Out.” Plus, after each session, you'll receive bonus “How-To” videos and structure breakdowns to help you stay inspired and on track.

❓ Is there a refund policy?

Due to the limited number of spots and live nature of the course, there are no refunds once the course begins. This keeps everyone committed and moving forward—just like a real writers’ room!

❓ How many people are in the group?

This is a small, intimate group with limited seats to ensure every writer gets personal feedback, group support, and expert attention. You won’t get lost in the crowd—you’ll be seen, supported, and guided.

❓ What do I need before the course starts?

All you need is a movie idea—just a spark! I’ll guide you through the entire process of turning that idea into a full screenplay. No experience or fancy software required.
